General Information for
an Aircraft Loan

We will finance avionic upgrades, new engine or engine overhauls, plus funds for the refurbishment to the interior and exterior of your aircraft. The application process is quick and easy.

  1. Submit a completed application to Battle Creek State Bank.
  2. Upon receipt, Battle Creek State Bank will reply within one business day. At that time we may ask for additional information such as a signed financial statement, tax returns, current payroll stub or other information will be requested if just the initial application was initially submitted.
  3. Once received, Battle Creek State Bank will typically give a reply within 12 to 24 hours.

Once the loan has been approved the loan will then move to the loan closing phase. This usually takes 2 business days. One day to prepare and send the documents, and one day to sign and return the documents.

Battle Creek State Bank is very interested in making this process simple and easy. We will do the following to make it so:

  1. Conduct a title search on the aircraft.
  2. Overnight all needed loan documents and supporting FAA documentation.
  3. We will upon request either wire or send a cashier's check to the seller for the amount financed.

Once the loan has successfully been closed, our work is not complete. Battle Creek State Bank will then do the following for you:

  1. File the necessary paper work with the FAA.
  2. Conduct a post-sale title search to ensure that the aircraft was properly titled.
  3. On-line banking which allows you to view the status of your note.
  4. Provide excellent customer service for the entire term of your loan.
